Dreamin' About Dreamin'

I am always open to possibilities. It may very well be why I am a glass half full kind of person- or it may be that, because I am a glass half full person, I am always open to possibilities!
I have NOT posted in over a year. Life! No excuses, simply LIFE! But that doesn't mean I have been wasting away somewhere! We have, since I last wrote, moved twice and changed jobs and begun new classes and started new business practices. All of that means- it's time to write again!!
My last post spoke of the coursework through Aviva Romm MD. She has given me a whole new set of skills and opened up my heart to some very new and very old ways of finding health in balance. I love it! What's not to love about learning about a woman's journey and how she can find optimum health through natural healing? It has also fueled my passion for women, helping them find out about themselves and who they are meant to be, their intrinsic value and how to achieve maximum wellness. It's so exciting! I have been studying for just over a year now, learning how to formulate herbals, how to support wellness and what it means to be well- BODY, MIND and SPIRIT. A large part of the wellness journey includes nutrition and food as medicine. Folks, that speaks my language!
In April I will be taking a course on the Adrenal system, the Thyroid and how to help women revolutionize their lives. Brain fog, food intolerances, energy levels, thyroid dysfunction, sleep- all of this is addressed and more! Dr. Aviva also gives practical, but life-changing, information to support a lifetime pathway to wellness--now who doesn't want that? Her book, The Adrenal Thyroid Revolution is a game changer! If you ARE interested, I would encourage you to purchase it- and a hard copy, because I'm thinking you will want to mark it up and flip back and forth!
I am also going to be teaching from what I learn in the course. Beginning May 1, I will be hosting a group every Monday. Some women are considering 'coming' to the group via Facebook LIVE or GoogleHangout (I haven't figured out the logistics with it yet) but those can be accessed in either real time or later on, if a person isn't available to meet up. I will require participants to have read the book- or at least half of it- before we begin.
What are the benefits? Well, I have begun a RESET on my system. Notice I didn't say a Detox or Cleanse? But a RESET. It deals with sleep, with foods and triggers, with listening to my inside voice, with paying attention to spiritual practices and with understanding what my body needs to enjoy maximum wellness. Does this appeal? Let me know- you would be welcome to join us!
I have also begun to create herbal body products. It began with a friend needing a salve to help her skin heal after a particularly bad cut. She struggles with an autoimmune issue, so her skin doesn't have a healing strategy. We found a formula to help her heal- and she did! Then I wanted to create something to help my husband find muscle comfort when his back hurt. He has a 40 year old injury that is painful 24/7 and he was relying on NSAIDs to help. I wondered if we could find something to help with inflammation and to provide pain relief. With the wisdom of my daughter in love and my own research, I have found an awesome formula that creates quick relief from muscular and bruising pain. Between this salve and some others, a few teas and some skin products that are edible (after all, your skin is your largest organ! But I wouldn't suggest you eat them, they wouldn't taste so good....), I have been enjoying CREATING!
So, Dreamin' About Dreamin'. I would always encourage people to be open, to dream, to follow your heart! But be wise! You know yourself, remind yourself what you value, what matters to you! With everything I do, I find myself asking, "How will this benefit me, my family, my community?" My heart wants to help people find comfort and wellness. I am driven by mercy and compassion. Understanding this about myself helps me to consider that direction and remind myself that it is who I am meant to be. What a joy!! Let me know what gives you joy? What have you learned about yourself? How do you seek wellness? Are you interested in learning more about yourself? About herbal products designed with your wellness in mind? Please feel free to comment! I would LOVE to connect with you!
In gratitude
Judi
